A set of [desk organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kiir) inspired by puddles, which is what the name of the Pol collection means in Swedish, the shapes are rounded in a slightly abstract manner. The Pol Collection is comprised of two pieces. The first is called Tablette. Tablette sports slots made specifically to hold papers, notebooks and pencils. The second has been dubbed Plateau and it is more of a general storage tray. It can hold everything from stamps and paperclips to tape and sticky notes. Both are made out of beech wood like her past creations including the [Contre Collection](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-contre-by-caroline-gomez), [torche lamp](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/torche-lamp) and [TRA Collection](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slow-design-for-kids). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Simple and Organic Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create desk organizers with a minimalist and nature-inspired design. - **Abstract Shapes:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop desk organizers with unique and unconventional shapes for a visually appealing workspace. - **Wooden Materials:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design desk organizers made from sustainable and eco-friendly wood materials to cater to the growing demand for environmentally conscious products. ### Where This Applies - **Office Supplies:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce new and innovative desk organizer options to revolutionize the office supplies industry. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Merge functionality and aesthetics by creating desk organizers that can seamlessly blend into home decor, catering to the growing trend of working from home. - **Eco-friendly Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Tap into the market for sustainable products by producing eco-friendly desk organizers made from recycled or renewable materials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stackable Tower Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyl-desk-organizer.md) - [Carved Timber Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organization-kit.md) - [Eco-Friendly Hardwood Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hardwood-accessories.md) - [Modern Modular Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firki.md) - [Organized Minimal Pen Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stilo75-pen-holder.md) - [Folded Metal Sheet Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldy.md) - [Undulating Desktop Valet Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wav-minimal-desk-organizer.md) - [Paper-Formed Premium Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pastille.md) - [Wooden Magnetic Desktop Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakywood-oakyblocks-magnetic-modules.md)
