In the Pokemon TV show, when Pokemon trainers wanted to battle one another, they would summon their Pokemon using a Pokeball. These edible and intoxicating Pokeballs by 'BigEatsBen' are made using [red and white sour candy treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jiggly-fruit-snacks) and vodka. The sour candies are boiled down using sugar and water to make a Jell-o consistency that is then poured into half-circle ice cube molds. You can add the vodka in at this point if you choose. Then, just stick together a white half-circle Jell-o with a red one and enjoy an edible Pokeball. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Edible Alcohol Creations:** The trend of creating edible alcohol creations is on the rise, offering unique and delicious ways to enjoy alcoholic beverages. - **Anime-inspired Food and Drinks:** The trend of creating food and drinks inspired by anime shows provides a niche market for fans to enjoy their favorite characters in a new and tasty way. - **Creative Jell-o Shot Variations:** There is a growing trend of experimenting with different ingredients and presentations to create innovative and exciting Jell-o shot variations. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Food and Beverage:** The food and beverage industry can capitalize on the demand for unique edible alcohol creations and expand their product offerings to cater to this trend. - **Entertainment Merchandise:** The entertainment merchandise industry can tap into the market of anime fans by creating themed food and drink products inspired by popular shows like Pokemon. - **Event Planning and Catering:** The event planning and catering industry can offer innovative and creative Jell-o shot variations as unique and memorable treats for their clients' events. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anime Anniversary Snack Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pokmon-milk-harbour-mont-blanc.md) - [Anime Monster Snack Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pokmon-ginza-cozy-corner.md) - [Monstrous Anime Frozen Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baskin-robbins-x-pokmon.md) - [Anime-Inspired Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pokemon-poke-ball-pizza.md) - [Anime-Themed Virtual Pet Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pokenade-monster-ball.md) - [Cheesy Anime-Inspired Crackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goldfish-pokmon-crackers.md) - [Collaboration Anime Cake Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ginza-cozy-corner.md) - [Celebratory Anime Donut Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pokmon-donuts.md) - [Boozy Boba Pearls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alcoholic-popping-boba.md)
