In fact, it is so good that it will inspire those who don't to spend some more time in that dedicated space. It is a wall-mounted desk that boasts a built-in sound system. Perfect for smaller spaces, the Podpad by RUPHUS is inspired by a shadow box design. With its various compartments for an iPhone charging dock and storage as well as a fold-down desktop. When not in use it folds up into a chic geometric piece of wall art. Available with white or bamboo doors and a walnut finish, the Podpad by RUPHUS is an artful and modern alternative to traditional work spaces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Workstation Innovations:** The trend of embedding new tools and technologies into workstations to create a more functional workspace. - **Embedded Sound Systems:** The trend of incorporating speakers and sound systems into furniture. - **Maximizing Small Spaces:** The trend of designing furniture with multifunctional features to accommodate smaller living and working spaces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** Opportunities to incorporate new technologies into furniture design and create multi-functional products that maximize small spaces. - **Office Supplies:** Opportunities to develop and incorporate new tools and technologies into workstations and office furniture to optimize functionality. - **Home Technology:** Opportunities to develop and incorporate sound systems into various home products and furniture to enhance the user experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [First-Class Working Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabin-work-pod.md) - [Customizable Personal Office Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acoustic-pod.md) - [Minimalist Private Office Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarlux-soundproof-space.md) - [All-in-One Laptop Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-casa-popup-desk.md) - [Sound-Absorbing Cozy Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buddyhub.md) - [Modular Work Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mespace-workstation.md) - [Personal Cubicle Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ma-camilla-isabel-reyes.md) - [Modular Working Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-working-desk.md) - [Single-Piece Construction Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nook-desk.md)
