If you're feeling lonely, look no further than the inside of your pocket. The name may sound a touch naughty, but these [tiny hand-painted clay faces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-sculptures) are punctuated with a look of child-like innocence. These awkwardly named petite companions are wonderfully kitschy and equipped with imaginatively hilarious histories. Eric for example is a graphic designer who has a fondness for vintage armchairs and finds relaxation in combing his beard. Now, you can faithfully say you are well acquainted with a graphic designer. Pocket Man Friends may sound like a creepy indulgence, but if you give into their undeniable magnetism you'll see they offer cuteness and luck on a more consistent basis than some flesh and blood friends. If male [pocket friends](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polly-pocket-x-alex-and-ani) aren't your bag, there is also a whole line of girlfriends as well. You'll never be strapped for friends or affection again, but just how much affection a small clay sculpture can give a person is up to you. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pocket Man Friends:** Opportunity for creating and selling customizable pocket-sized clay sculptures as companions. - **Kitschy Companions:** Growing market for cute and quirky collectible items that bring a sense of amusement and nostalgia. - **Personalized Miniature Gifts:** Increasing demand for unique and personalized gifts in the form of miniature sculptures. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Crafts:** Artisans and crafters can explore creating and marketing small clay sculptures as pocket-sized companions or collectible items. - **Gift and Novelty:** Businesses can tap into the market of personalized and unique miniature sculptures as gifts for special occasions or novelty items. - **Niche Collectibles:** Entrepreneurs can consider creating a line of kitschy collectible items targeted at collectors and enthusiasts of unique and nostalgic products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI Companionship Necklaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/friend.md) - [Pocket-Sized AI Companions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharp-poketomo.md) - [Plushie Keychain Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/line-friends-plushie-keychains.md) - [AI-Powered Collectible Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heymates.md) - [Animal-Inspired Daily Affirmations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-of-love.md) - [AI Companion Charms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eiliko.md) - [Comforting Plush Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloudheads.md) - [Emotional Support Wearables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-wearable1.md) - [Whimsical Ceramic Cookie Jars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inferno.md)
