Small and discreet enough to be placed in the front pocket of a shirt, the 'PocoCam' looks like a pen to help maintain discretion. The 'PocoCam' camera is completely free of wires and weighs just 32 grams. A battery life capability of six hours makes it ready to take on an entire day's worth of recording, while recharging takes about 2.5 hours. Moreover, a microSD slot makes expanding the storage capabilities easy. The 'PocoCam' pocket cam is currently being funded through an [Indiegogo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-creator-gear) campaign where users can pick up one of the affordable cameras for themselves earlier than the rest. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 80% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Discreet Wearable Cameras:** The trend of discreet wearable cameras allows for inconspicuous recording in daily life. - **Wireless Video Recording:** Wireless video recording technology provides convenience and freedom of movement for capturing moments on the go. - **Expanded Storage Capabilities:** The demand for expanded storage capabilities in portable cameras opens up opportunities for innovative memory solutions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Wearable Technology:** The wearable technology industry can benefit from developing smaller and discreet cameras that seamlessly integrate with everyday clothing. - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer electronics companies have the opportunity to create wireless cameras that prioritize convenience and ease of use for users. - **Memory Storage:** The memory storage industry can innovate by creating compact and high-capacity storage solutions specifically designed for portable cameras. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dedicated Content Creator Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instapocket.md) - [Minimal Portable Video Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/powershot-v10.md) - [Nostalgic Handheld Video Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/video-camera.md) - [Pebble-Shaped Vlogging Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kyu-camera.md) - [Pocket-Friendly UHD Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/5k-action-camera.md) - [Micro-Sized Vlogging Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-vlog001.md) - [Thumb-Sized Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-action-camera.md) - [Pocket-Sized 3D Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qoocam-ego.md) - [Cordless Triple-Axis Gimbal Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/feiyu-pocket-3.md)
