I love me some [ultra modern architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/general-assembly-1). I love it especially when said architecture maintains its pure, plain futuristic form, while allowing for some seriously ancient throwback touches like the Plus House designed by [Mount Fuji Architects Studio](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trunkhotel-cat-street).

Located on Japan’s main island of Honshu, this [weekend escape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cloud-house) keeps it all white, and very angular. The exterior is all white marble (the ancient throwback) that reflects the blue of the Pacific ocean that Plus House overlooks.
