Although plug-in hybrid and horse power don't seem to go hand-in-hand, that is exactly the case when it comes to the new [Lamborghini](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2024-urus) Asterion LPI 910-4 model. Recently debuted at the Paris Motor Show, the luxury plug-in hybrid is capable of operating either with the full 910 horses or in a pure electric mode, which delivers power to motors mounted in the front axle alone.

Sleek and impressive, the Lamborghini plug-in hybrid shows that the performance segment is really starting to up its game when it comes to eco-friendly vehicles. Joining [Ferrari's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ferrari-purosangue) LaFerrari and [McLaren's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artura-spider) P1, this plug-in hybrid is nevertheless a step up. The Verge reports that "carbon dioxide emission reduction is prominently mentioned in the car's press release, and it touts a pure-electric driving range of 50km (31 miles)."
