Solo is part of Cedarworks Playroom Collection of active indoor play pieces. While it is smaller in comparison to [full-sized playground units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/welcome-little-stranger), the compact design packs an incredible amount of activity areas into a small amount of space. In this design, there's a ground-level nook, a slide, ladder, a steering wheel and a double-sided chalkboard. This [indoor play unit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-play-space) is ideal for inspiring endless hours of [active play](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-open-house) between one to two small children. As a byproduct of physical play, kids that play with this unit will also have their motor skills sharpened. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Active Indoor Play:** The trend of active indoor play is growing, with a focus on creating scaled-down versions of playground units for home use. - **Compact Design:** There is a growing demand for compact indoor playground units that can fit into small spaces while still offering multiple activity areas. - **Motor Skills Development:** There is an increased recognition of the importance of active play in the development of children's motor skills. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Toy Manufacturing:** Toy manufacturers have an opportunity to create innovative, scaled-down indoor playground units for home use. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate compact indoor playground units into small living spaces to provide children with active play opportunities. - **Children's Entertainment Centers:** Children's entertainment centers can consider incorporating scaled-down indoor playground units into their facilities to attract families. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pastel Indoor Bounce Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smol-bounce-houses.md) - [Contemporary Playroom Features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/randle-wall-climbing-handle.md) - [Nature-Inspired Indoor Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sarit-shani-hay.md) - [Fitness-Inspired Backyard Playsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backyard-playsets.md) - [Structural Energetic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archipelago-playscape.md) - [Playful Modular Kids Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twiny-sofa-system.md) - [Insect Habitat Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-playground.md) - [Heritage Sound Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hornscape-playground.md) - [First-Of-Its-Kind Playspace Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloudbound.md)
