The residence, constructed on a corner lot near Jakarta, is equipped with a [sturdy spiral slide](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-open-house) that connects a child’s bedroom with the kitchen. Among its other more playful attributes, the ‘Playhouse’ by Abadoy is contrived with [bridge-like second-storey hallways](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-seven-floors), ten-meter ceilings, suspended fans and undulating railings. Photographer Happy Lim expertly captures a wide range of views of the ‘Playhouse’ and its diversified living and playing spaces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Playful Design:** Creating spaces that incorporate playful and lighthearted elements, like slides and bridge-like hallways, to enhance the overall experience. - **Integration of Fun Features:** Integrating fun features, such as slides and suspended fans, into residential and commercial spaces to add entertainment value. - **Diversified Living Spaces:** Designing homes and buildings with diverse living and playing spaces for a more interactive and engaging experience. ### Where This Applies - **Residential Architecture:** The residential architecture industry can explore incorporating playful and lighthearted elements into home designs to create unique and exciting living spaces. - **Hospitality and Tourism:** The hospitality and tourism industry can consider integrating fun features into their venues, such as slides and diverse playing spaces, to attract guests seeking unique and entertaining experiences. - **Commercial Real Estate:** The commercial real estate industry can explore the creation of office spaces or retail environments that incorporate playful and lighthearted design elements to enhance employee and customer satisfaction. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful-Focused Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/znamy-si.md) - [Playful Apartment Makeovers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onda-apartment.md) - [Structural Energetic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archipelago-playscape.md) - [Playfully Designed Family Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-for-dorothy.md) - [Abstract Colorfully Vibrant Playscapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wired-scape.md) - [Hillside Concrete Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concrete-house-1.md) - [Curvaceous Artful Play Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/play-pavilion.md) - [Vibrantly Artful Playful Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/play-pavilion-1.md) - [Whimsical Futuristic Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yoohome.md)
