'[PlayBox](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playbox-urban-mobility)' is the name of a small home entertainment console that was built by Thingverse user 'milks' in order to replace a broken music player. As such, the 3D-printed device is primarily capable of streaming music and playing the radio, but it can also be used for other entertainment purposes.

The DIY home entertainment system runs on [Raspberry Pi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocketfriendly-games-console) and includes an OLED screen that makes it possible to view videos and play [retro games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playdate-handheld) on the device, even from across the room.

To piece together the PlayBox home entertainment system, only two printed pieces are needed, in addition to a few electronic components and accessories and the software code provided by this Thingverse creator.
