For those of you who are unfamiliar with the skyline of Shanghai, you can now get a feel for the landscape as [Plastic City](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plaex-building-systems-inc) is modeled after this Chinese metropolis. A rather [colorful eco-conscious project](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wired-scape), it was made using only cheap, plastic materials such as bins, baskets, brooms and more.

Created by artist Bang-Yao Liu, Plastic City was commissioned by Converse for an artist series. Check out the Taiwanese artist at work in the [stop motion video](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urban-transformation).
