The planter light is intended to be mounted on a wall and will go to work with a series of [built-in LEDs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biophilic-lighting) to provide passive or indirect illumination, depending on positioning of the unit. The [upper planter section](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-gardening-1) of the light is perfect for positioning a succulent or similar kind of plant to integrate a touch of greenery without the need for a separate planter. The 'Succulamp' planter sconce adheres easily onto any surface thanks to an adhesive mount and plugs into any outlet. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Succulent Lighting:** Opportunity for companies to develop innovative lighting solutions that incorporate plant life into interior design. - **Indirect Illumination:** Potential for businesses to create lighting fixtures that provide passive or indirect lighting for a cozy ambiance. - **Plant Integration:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to design products that seamlessly integrate plants into household or office fixtures. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Companies in the interior design industry can explore incorporating succulent light fixtures into their product offerings. - **Lighting:** Opportunity for lighting companies to develop unique fixtures that combine lighting with plant holders. - **Home Decor:** Businesses in the home decor industry can create products that combine aesthetics with functionality by integrating plants into lighting fixtures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Posh Plant-Supporting Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ample-plant-light-n1.md) - [Plant-Supporting Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/led-growlight.md) - [Water-Powered Planter Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planto.md) - [Self-Watering Multifunctional Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grow-lamp.md) - [Plant-Cultivating Home Furnishings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-4.md) - [Money Plant-Inspired Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pilea-lamp.md) - [Basket-Inspired Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloom-engine-spot.md) - [Naturalistic Biophilic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bioo-lamp.md) - [Ambient Grow Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-ambient-grow-light.md)
