Planted is a vegan food truck from Julz and Nolan McGraw, a former dairy farmer and body builder who after changing their own diets to be more healthy and sustainable, wanted to bring more accessible plant-based options to their community in North Canterbury.

To make their offerings more appealing to those who don't typically go for plant-based options, the McGraws include all of the classic comfort food staples on their menu, ranging from [hot dogs and burgers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joy-burgers-and-plants) to [sweet pies and cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chana-rama-pie). The couple aims to show others outside of the vegan space that plant-based food isn't all veggie bowls and salads, and that making the lifestyle shift doesn't always mean that they have to give up their favorite dishes.
