The piece emerged from the collaboration between the Brooklyn-based design firm Craighill and the [eco-conscious lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-lamp-series) manufacturer Gantri—two brands that share values for cutting-edge innovation, pleasing aesthetics, and sustainably-driven material use. Constructed entirely from plant-based polymers, the Flux Table Light utilizes Gantri's expertise in [3D printing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/her-floor-lamp). Visually, the plant-based lamp evokes dripping wax spilling over architectural columns. Head designer Hunter Craighill was struck with this image as he was reading a book on architecture by candlelight during a power outage. The Flux Table Light is offered in three color options, including burnt orange, forest green, and light gray. With a height just under a foot, it features a museum-grade dimmable LED and a 90-inch cord..
