PLANTATION by Alicja Patanowsk, a Polish student at the [Royal Collage of Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/watershore-habitat), [Department of Ceramics and Glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/department-of-architecture-company) in London, is a series of [mini greenhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-greenhouse-is-your-kitchen) made out of upcycled glassware. A creative and eco-friendly project, to say the very least, it shows people that they don't have to spend a pretty penny to create their own indoor gardens. With a little incentive and imagination, anything can be repurposed into planters.

Using glasses found at bus stops, in dumpsters and by benches, PLANTATION by Alicja Patanowsk "finds a remarkable, almost symbolic use of what has been abandoned," as written on her website. Each glass was fitted with a handmade porcelain component to ensure ideal seed germination takes place in the vessels.
