[BODYBAR Pilates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reform-the-rules) ran the annual PLANKstock, a 70s-inspired festival celebration that took place on National Pilates Day, May 2.

PLANKstok events were held across participating studios nationwide. As part of this celebration, locations transformed into mini [music festival experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fitness-rave) with complimentary [mat Pilates classes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fitness-modality), glitter, glow sticks, fun lighting, and encouragement for members to wear funky retro attire. The event included giveaways, raffles, referral perks, exclusive promotions, and pop-up activities such as DIY tie-dye stations, flower crown making, plank contests, and partnerships with local food and beverage vendors. All of this culminated in a signature plank challenge that brought attendees together for a final collective moment of strength.

Kamille McCollum, Chief Brand Officer, President and Co-Founder of BODYBAR Pilates, shared: “It’s such a fun way to bring our community together and celebrate the energy that makes BODYBAR special. We love creating an experience that feels welcoming, a little unexpected and shows just how strong and empowered you can feel through Pilates.”
