The 'Planetary String Lights' from ThinkGeek are incandescent bulbs with translucent finishes that look just like the heavenly bodies in the solar system. Whether consumers are looking for something novel to decorate their Christmas trees with or they are simply space fans, these lights are a great way to bring the cosmos into one's home.

ThinkGeek's Planetary String Lights come with a set of 10 bulbs. These include the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. While Pluto is no longer a technical planet, its inclusion is a nod to the planetary nostalgists of the world.

In terms of specs, the bulbs are two inches in diameter and each painted to look like their respective cosmological inspiration. They come connected on an 11-foot cord.
