Each strip on the painting shows the surface of the planet, including the [stormy, gaseous swirls of Jupiter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atmosphere-model), the gray rockiness of Pluto to sea-and-ground blend of our own Earth. This Planet Painting shows how different each planet in out solar system is in terms of color, texture and matter. Some planets or gaseous while others are solid. The iron on Mars make it look red, while Neptune is a bright blue green. The strips of each planet are group together to create a painting of large planet with all of the different textures and colors mixed together to show contrast. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Space Themed Artwork:** Artists are creating unique artwork that combines scientific elements of our universe creating new ways of appreciating the cosmos. - **Interplanetary Exploration:** Innovation in space technology is driving new exploration missions and initiatives, leading to opportunities for new discoveries beyond our own planet. - **Planetary Materials Analysis:** With the increasing technologies in spectroscopy and other Instruments scientists now have the ability to analyze and uncover valuable natural resources not found on earth ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Artists are pushing limits by incorporating scientific elements into their work, creating a new style of space themed art work. - **Space Exploration:** Innovations in space tech and transportation is providing opportunities for companies to invest in inter-planetary exploration initiatives. - **Aerospace and Minerals:** The data gathered from exploration is giving rise to new opportunities for rare mineral formations and other valuable resources not found on Earth. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Galactic-Inspired Stationary Pins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planet-pins.md) - [Planet-Resembling Watch Faces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/galaxy-time.md) - [Luxury Solar System Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bejeweled-solar-system-set.md) - [Levitating Solar System Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quantum-solar-system.md) - [Oil Painting-Inspired Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antonio-santn.md) - [Pizza-Shaped Universe Maps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/universe-map1.md) - [Festive Light Painting Techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-painting-1.md) - [Creative Imaging Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pic-2-planet.md) - [Interstellar Special-Edition Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/specialedition-smartphone.md)
