I have seen my fair share of eco-architecture, and although they are usually very innovative and breath-taking to behold, I have never come across one as funky as the Pixel Building. With its [psychedelic colors and dynamic paneling](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron), 'funky' seems like the most appropriate descriptor.

Designed by [Studio 505 Architects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/populus-hotel), there is more to the Pixel Building than its exterior. The first [carbon neutral office building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/picoplanktonics) in Australia, it will commence construction later this year.
