Stand out in class and show your comedic side with this unfortunately inedible [pencil case](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/experimental-pencils) by Baruch Mogilevsky. The product comes from Mohar Design, who gained inspiration from Ashantur Jerusalum bread. It's shaped to look like a regular piece of [pita bread](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/common-breads), but instead of tasty food inside, you'll find a strap to hold your pencils in place. Once your pencils are secure, wrap it up and put in [your bag](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airpack-backpack) for later. If you feel like being the class clown, you could even trick someone into having a bite. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Food-inspired School Supplies:** There is a growing trend towards school supplies that are designed to look like food items such as this Pita Bread Pencil Holder. - **Humorous School Supplies:** The popularity of humorous school supplies such as this Pita Bread Pencil Holder continues to rise as students seek to stand out in class. - **Functional Novelty Items:** Functional novelty items that serve a practical purpose, yet offer a unique and humorous twist such as the Pita Bread Pencil Holder, are becoming increasingly popular. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Stationery and Office Supplies:** Manufacturers in the stationery and office supplies industry could incorporate more food-inspired designs into their products to meet the growing demand for unique and humorous items like the Pita Bread Pencil Holder. - **Fashion and Accessories:** Fashion and accessories designers could tap into the trend of food-inspired and humorous designs by creating items like the Pita Bread Pencil Holder as part of their product line. - **Gift and Novelty Items:** The popularity of functional novelty items like the Pita Bread Pencil Holder makes it a great addition to the gift and novelty item industry as a playful and unique item. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dumpster Pencil Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dumpstuder-pencil-holders.md) - [Food-Inspired Fashionable Purses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stan-onigiri-purse.md) - [Nostalgic School Supplies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/staples-pep-rally.md) - [Bread-Themed Wrapping Paper Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bakermee.md) - [Bespoke Bakery-Inspired Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-bag.md) - [Cheeky Food-Made Beauty Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spoof-beauty-range.md) - [Recycled Plastic Writing Utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mechanical-drop-pencil.md) - [Creativity-Focused Pizza Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masterpiecezas.md) - [Japanese Bento-Inspired Stationery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bento-jot.md)
