The bowl itself is shaped like the shell of a pistachio, which means that it can be opened and used as two bowls. The exterior of this dish is a light beige color and the inside is light green to make it an authentic nut-like replica. The dish reaches about 14 centimeters long and five centimeters deep. Made from a melamine material, it's safe to wash in a dishwasher and is extremely durable. While this dish is a great way to honor World Pistachio Day, it can also be used for various other snack items like olives. The design was created by '[OTOTO](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ototo-and-everyplate)' and consumers can purchase this dish online through [Amazon.com](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wasa-crispbread). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Nut-inspired Serveware:** The rise of nut-inspired serveware presents an opportunity for manufacturers to create unique, pistachio-shaped kitchenware. - **Multi-purpose Serveware:** There is an opportunity for creators to design more multi-functional serveware like two-in-one pistachio-shaped dishes that can be opened and used as two separate bowls. - **Replica Design:** There is a trend towards creating authentic replica designs like the light beige and light green shell-shaped snack bowl that resembles a pistachio shell. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchenware Manufacturing:** Manufacturers in the kitchenware industry can take advantage of nut-inspired serveware trends by creating unique shaped dishes and trays made from durable materials like melamine. - **Home Decor and Design:** The trend towards replica designs and multi-purpose serveware presents opportunities for home decor and design industries to create unique kitchen accessories that fuse style and functionality. - **E-commerce:** The online retail industry, particularly e-commerce platforms like Amazon.com, can benefit from the popularity of unique serveware designs by offering a wider selection of trendy, nut-inspired kitchenware products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stackable Rotating Snack Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tapas-snack-sphere.md) - [Pistachio Holiday Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pistakio-panettone.md) - [Dessert-Filled Glass Purses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pistachio-tiramisu-purse.md) - [Versatile Customization Pistachio Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderful-pistachios-no-shells-unsalted.md) - [Chocolate-Dipped Pistachio Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderful-pistachios-snacks.md) - [Nutty Canadian-Made Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pistachio-crunch.md) - [Vegan-Friendly Pistachio Butters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pot-de-pistche.md) - [Classically Seasoned Pistachio Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderful-pistachios-no-shells-sea-salt-pepper.md) - [Vegan Pistachio Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegan-pistachio-cream.md)
