This nutty serving dish has a sleek white coating on the outside of the shell that is matte and smooth to the touch. Through the cracked opening, you can see the [vibrant glossy green](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tip-top-glass) that coats the inside of the shell, making for a funky piece that stands out. When not in use, the shell is a fun bit of decoration that you can put on display in your cabinets. When serving guests, crack open the shell and voila, you have two beautiful dishes, one for [nuts or olives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nut-toppers), and the other for the discarded shells and pits. The Pistachio Bowl is a creatively designed dish that is surprisingly practical as well as decorative. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Artistic Serving Dishes:** Opportunities for designers to create functional pieces that are also visually interesting. - **Sustainable Tableware:** Opportunities to reduce waste by creating tableware that serves multiple purposes. - **Decorative Storage Containers:** Opportunities to create practical items that also function as decor when not in use. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Opportunities for designers to create unique and visually interesting pieces for the home. - **Kitchenware:** Opportunities to create multi-functional and sustainable tableware. - **Organizational Storage:** Opportunities to create practical and decorative storage solutions for the home. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Springy Safety-Focused Nutcrackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silicone-nutcracker.md) - [Creative Dipping Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-sea.md) - [Dessert-Filled Glass Purses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pistachio-tiramisu-purse.md) - [Classically Seasoned Pistachio Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderful-pistachios-no-shells-sea-salt-pepper.md) - [Coconut-Based Dessert Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ice-dream-bowls.md) - [Versatile Customization Pistachio Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderful-pistachios-no-shells-unsalted.md) - [Vegan Pistachio Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegan-pistachio-cream.md) - [Cracking Pistachio Easter Eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cracking-pistachio-easter-egg.md) - [Pickle-Flavored Pistachio Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/no-shells-dill-pickle.md)
