Specifically designed to piqued your interest, Trader Joe's Piquant Popcorn is unlike most other [popcorn snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-secret-readytoeat-popcorn) you'll find on the market. Instead of a buttery topping, the new Piquant Popcorn features a "pleasant pop of umami" from a surprising mix of ingredients. Inside each bag are light and fluffy kernels dusted with a blend of garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and nutritional yeast. The nutritional yeast is a particularly important addition as it gives the popcorn a rich, tangy, and slightly cheesy flavor.
