In the summer, there's nothing better than enjoying beer on a patio and Pints in the Sun is a web app to help you [find the perfect patio conditions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beertown-public-house).

London digital agency Poke took it upon themselves to create this tool using Open Street Map data, SunCalc, FourSquare math and a few other applications. With Pints in the Sun, you can [search for a pub](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nightlife-finders), locate it on a map and then move a slider to coincide with a certain time of day. The map shows the location of the pub and how much shade or sun it will be exposed to at a certain point in the day. The Poke [web application](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/momentitos-app) is still in the experimental phases, but it's still a handy tool for locating a perfectly sunny UK pub.
