It has a unique pond, complete with lily pads, in the center that gives it an overall tranquil aesthetic. Like the casual [Quad Table Tennis Set](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quad-table-tennis-game), the Ping Pond Table accommodates four separate players comfortably. Designed by Mexican artist Gabriel Orozco, it would make a fun and decorative addition to office settings and luxurious homes. For those who don't like the idea of compromising the [competitive aspect of table tennis](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floating-padel-court), the Ping Pond Table adds an interesting component to the game. People have to be extra careful not to let the ping pong ball fall into the water. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Tranquil Table Tennis:** Aesthetic ping-pong tables with peaceful and attractive aesthetics are on the rise and could find demand in both residential and commercial settings. - **Artistic Leisure Furniture:** Stylish and artistic game sets are increasingly being used as decorative and functional pieces for homes and offices. - **Water-incorporated Game Features:** Incorporating water features into game furniture has the potential to create an entirely new leisure activity and could take the interest of unique customers. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture:** Creative and immersive designs may define the trend of fun and aesthetically pleasing furniture for living spaces. - **Sports and Leisure:** The emergence of unique leisure furniture poised to redefine play time may enable this sector to expand. - **Design:** Abstract design and artistic concepts can aid in creating additional value to recreational products by emphasizing their aesthetic and immersive features. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artful Table Tennis Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nedj-ping-pong-tables.md) - [Luxury Transparent Game Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/effetto-71-ping-pong-table.md) - [Posh Pastel-Hued Game Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casablanca-ping-pong-table.md) - [Reflective Ping-Pong Parlour Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/match-point-installation.md) - [Fashion-Branded Ping Pong Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kith-for-wilson-ping-pong-table.md) - [Hybrid Party Game Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiburon-tables.md) - [Haute Waterlily-Like Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lilypad-table.md) - [Pop Art-Inspired Foosball Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rs4-home-x-hey-foosball-table.md) - [Monogrammed Ping-Pong Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ping-pong-set.md)
