While plant-based meats have yet to become a national sensation in China, Beyond Meat hopes to alleviate some of the strain on the foodservice supply chain in China while also providing a tasty, healthy option for consumers to enjoy. China has a huge meat industry that largely consists of imports, so having local factories to produce reliable food sources, such as Beyond Meat, is excellent news.
