The Martha Stewart Pillow Covers celebrate [Fourth of July events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stars-stripes-sweetness-collection) through a crafty take on bedding. According to the post, classic Independence Day coloring and patterns can be turned into chic casing via towels or scarves.

To create these Pillow Covers, the Martha Stewart website recommends using a [hand towel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canadian-tea-towel), a decorative cushion and bedding inserts. By securing the materials with knotted rope, a twisted candy-like shape is produced.

One of the best aspects of this DIY project is its temporary appeal. Since the cloth can be wrapped and unwrapped with ease, those who decide to produce these Pillow Covers can construct and deconstruct them with little effort. This is an essential feature for decorators who appreciate frequent change at home.
