There are so many smartphone photos on social networks these days, but the photos will often be posted without credit to the photo-taker; the Picmo app aims to change that.

Created by Jason Bass, the Picmo app is a tool that allows smartphone photographers to brand their photos, whether by adding their own logo to the image, watermarking it, or adding a message about who took the photo and where they were when they took it. Before you post your image on Facebook, Twitter, [Pinterest](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faxo) or [Instagram](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monetization-apps), the Picmo app lets you create an overlay with a logo, watermark or message to superimpose onto the picture.

Picmo is currently on [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pgytech-retrova), seeking $6,500 in funding. Visit its Kickstarter page for more information or to make a contribution.
