Known as 'The Fence,' this white storage box is super sleek, compact and a great place to stash all sorts of clutter. Made from [white coated steel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multidrawer) and all-natural soy based glue, this storage box is both environmentally friendly and a great piece of design decor. Shaped like a thin rectangular box, The Fence features [two separate shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelf-life): a deep lower shelf for hats, scarves, magazines and books, and a smaller concealed shelf for keys, change and mail. With the high white fence-like panels across the front of the storage box, everything users stash inside The Fence becomes completely covered up. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Fence-inspired Design:** The trend of using traditional fence design motifs as inspiration for new design projects presents an opportunity for innovative companies to create unique and aesthetically pleasing products. - **Wall-mounted Storage Solutions:** The trend of wall-mounted storage solutions provides an opportunity for companies to reimagine traditional storage solutions to maximize space and be more visually appealing. - **Eco-friendly Design:** The trend of eco-friendly design provides an opportunity for companies to create sustainable products that are also aesthetically pleasing. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor and Furniture:** The home decor and furniture industry can leverage the trend of fence-inspired design to create unique and innovative pieces that appeal to consumers. - **Storage and Organization:** The storage and organization industry can capitalize on the trend of wall-mounted storage solutions to create products that are both functional and visually appealing. - **Sustainability:** The sustainability industry can leverage the trend of eco-friendly design to create products that are both sustainable and stylish. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Floating Stacked Storage Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kgt-wall-unit.md) - [Vertical Honeycomb Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-art-storage-system.md) - [Comical Desk-Side Status Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/work-fence.md) - [Discreet Folding Shelf Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-shelf.md) - [Storage Box-Transformed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chunks-and-blocks.md) - [Metallic Multifunctional Storage Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabine-101.md) - [Sleek Wall Organizer Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mdf-boards.md) - [Adorable Luxurious Storage Compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxurious-storage-compartment.md) - [Building Block Wall Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-organizer-and-messfree-planter.md)
