I'm all for [eco-friendly automobiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jaguar-type-00), but my tastes trend more towards the [Tesla](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jeep-pickup-concept) than this. Billed by Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli as an "electric vehicle for gated communities," the GEM Peapod's silly oval shape and permagrin grille leave something to be desired in the aesthetics department.
