The time reel-like ruler has spaces for you to put [pictures of your child](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/autoheart-picpak-digital-frame) in, which helps you never forget how fast your ‘Lil Sprout’ is growing up. Created by PA Design in France, this has to be the most heartfelt ruler I’ve seen. The ruler can also be used as a [tape measure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comandi) to check the height of your growing child, as they stand with their backs to their wall hoping to have grown that extra inch since last month. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 19% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Visual Tracking Tools:** There is an opportunity for companies to create more personalized visual tracking tools like the Lil Sprout ruler to help parents monitor their child's growth. - **Smart Growth Monitoring Devices:** The Lil Sprout ruler could inspire the development of smart growth monitoring devices that not only measure height and weight but also track other important developmental milestones. - **Interactive Family Keepsakes:** Businesses can develop more interactive family keepsakes like the Lil Sprout ruler, which allow for sentimental value and practical use in tracking a child's growth. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Baby Products:** The Lil Sprout ruler falls under the baby products industry, which can be disrupted further with innovative products that address the needs of both parents and children. - **Personalized Gifts:** The Lil Sprout ruler could inspire personalized gift companies to create more unique and sentimental products that capture the special moments of an individual's life. - **Smart Home Devices:** There is a potential for smart home device companies to create more sophisticated growth monitoring devices that leverage technology to track and provide insights on child development. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Digital Design Desktop Rulers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neoruler.md) - [Child-Centric Growth Measurement Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/growth-measurement-app.md) - [Smart Measuring Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hozos-neorulergo.md) - [Rolling Portable Measuring Tapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neorulergo.md) - [Curvaceous Analog Designer Rulers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rulerc-concept.md) - [Hybrid Angled Stationary Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/25-ruler.md) - [Childhood Memory Capturing Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dear-little-one.md) - [Magnetic Measuring Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tisolver.md) - [Minimal Stainless Steel Rulers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shinwa.md)
