The PhoneSoap charger is a little box that encases your phone for sanitation, with two [UV-C lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/umma-diamond-sonic-toothbrush) on both sides that sterilize your phone. The wavelengths break the DNA of the cells and prevent them from returning, the PhoneSoap charger is completely safe for your devices and uses [no chemicals, heat or liquids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-sanitation-device). If you want to keep your phone in the charger overnight, there are acoustic outlets so you can still hear your notifications and alarm. The PhoneSoap charger will automatically turn off once sanitation is done, but you can still leave it charging until you're ready to go. Keep your phone free of germs, while you talk happy and healthy. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Phone Sanitization:** The PhoneSoap charger offers a solution to sanitize your phone while it charges, providing an opportunity for other companies to develop similar products. - **UV-C Sterilization:** The use of UV-C lamps in the PhoneSoap charger to sterilize phones opens up possibilities for UV-C sterilization in other industries, such as medical equipment or restaurant utensils. - **Chemical-free Sanitization:** The chemical-free sanitization method employed by the PhoneSoap charger presents an opportunity for businesses to develop eco-friendly and safe sanitization solutions in various industries, such as baby products or cosmetics. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics:** The PhoneSoap charger targets the consumer electronics industry by providing a solution to sanitize phones, encouraging other companies in the industry to explore similar products. - **Healthcare:** The UV-C sterilization technology used in the PhoneSoap charger suggests potential for application in the healthcare industry to disinfect medical equipment and surfaces. - **Hospitality:** The chemical-free sanitization method offered by the PhoneSoap charger could disrupt the hospitality industry by providing a safe and eco-friendly way to sanitize utensils, linens, and guest amenities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dual-Purpose Device Sanitizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/totallee-uv-phone-sanitizer.md) - [Sanitizing Smartphone Charger Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charger-concept.md) - [Wireless Charging Sanitisers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/picnic-uv.md) - [Highly Effective Phone Cleaners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cleanstation.md) - [Powerful UV Sanitation Wands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uv-sanitizer-wand.md) - [Anti-Radiation Smartphone Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/radiationblocking-charger.md) - [Self-Cleaning Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfcleaning-smartphone-case.md) - [Mini Portable Toothbrush Sanitizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bril-uvc-toothbrush-sanitizer.md) - [Reliable Self-Sanitizing Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hahatec-self-sanitizing-toothbrush.md)
