# Pouf Bouquet Perches The Pezzo de Culo is an Eccentric Seating System Comprised of Three Cushions By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-01-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pezzo-de-culo References: [saiholyuen](http://www.saiholyuen.com/Pezzo-de-Culo) Without seeing someone actually sitting on the Pezzo de Culo, you might wonder exactly what it does. Even determining its scale is quite difficult without a point of reference since the object probably looks like nothing you've ever seen before. Indeed, this odd interior item is in fact a chair. It has legs and [plushy pillows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slim-collection) but its structure is utterly unrecognizable. Studio SaiHol Yuen started with a unique frame that was formed from the meeting of three seemingly separate pieces, each with a single cushioned foot on one side and a [big soft bolster](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-pillo) on the other. A multi-ended metal sheath solidifies their intersection. There is no backrest on the Pezzo de Culo. The user simple takes a seat towards the open center of the [contemporary stool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubble-stool) and discovers the support and comfort that the sides of her bum receives. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Eccentric Seating Systems:** The Pezzo de Culo is an eccentric seating system that challenges traditional chair designs with its unique structure and lack of backrest. - **Unconventional Furniture:** The Pezzo de Culo exemplifies the rise of unconventional furniture designs that prioritize creativity and originality over traditional aesthetics. - **Multifunctional Seating:** The Pezzo de Culo demonstrates the trend of multifunctional seating options that combine comfort, style, and unique design elements. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore new possibilities for unconventional seating systems like the Pezzo de Culo, creating innovative and eye-catching products. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can utilize the Pezzo de Culo to add a touch of eccentricity and uniqueness to spaces, pushing the boundaries of traditional design. - **Hospitality and Entertainment:** The hospitality and entertainment industry can incorporate eccentric seating systems like the Pezzo de Culo in their establishments to provide unique and memorable experiences for guests. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Bulbous Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buffo.md) - [Saddle-Inspired Ergonomic Modern Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pepe-stool.md) - [Voluptuous Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/voluptuous-seating.md) - [Nature-Inspired Modular Pouf Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apego.md) - [Curvaceous Padded Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/talk-chair.md) - [Enveloping Sofa Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo.md) - [Contemporary Rocking Pouffe Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/platero.md) - [Cozy Oversized Cushion Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo-lounge-chair.md) - [Eco-Friendly Pouf Chair Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rio-pouffe.md)
