The house is crafted out of cardboard to accommodate a flatpack design with a single access doorway along with a window on the front section. The paper-made design of the cat house highlights a rustic aesthetic that will help to appear rather nonchalant in a home compared to wood or carpet-covered tower alternatives. The 'Petsy' cat house could, if manufactured and sold, be easily shipped to the consumer given the paper-made design to make it a rather eco-friendly product that could be easily recycled after use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Eco-friendly Pet Products:** The 'Petsy' cat house's cardboard-made design highlights a rustic aesthetic and is easily recyclable, creating opportunities for eco-friendly pet products. - **Minimalist Pet Furniture:** The 'Petsy' cat house's simplistic design creates opportunities for minimalistic pet furniture. - **Flatpack Pet Accessories:** The 'Petsy' cat house's flatpack design creates opportunities for easily shipped and assembled pet accessories. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Care Industry:** The 'Petsy' cat house creates opportunities for sustainable and minimalistic products in the pet care industry. - **E-commerce Industry:** The 'Petsy' cat house's eco-friendly and easily shipped design creates opportunities for e-commerce companies selling pet products. - **Home Decor Industry:** The 'Petsy' cat house's rustic aesthetic creates opportunities for incorporating pet furniture into home decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Functional Furniture Cat Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/donarturo-cuba-cat-house.md) - [Flexible Plywood-Made Pet Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuto-pet-house.md) - [Pyramidal Feline Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-cat-furniture.md) - [Hybrid Feline-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-cat-tower.md) - [Stylish Stimulating Cat Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/catit.md) - [Minimalist Feline Litter Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conceptual-hidden-litter-box.md) - [Contemporary Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Cat-Furniture-1.md) - [Ultra-Simple Unibody Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cottage-dog-house.md) - [Origami-Like Pet Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/felt-cat-bed.md)
