The integration combines PetScreening's [pet policy management platform](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-management), which is used by over 7.2 million rental units, with OwnerRez's vacation rental software. The streamlined pet-screening process reduces administrative burdens by automating documentation checks, including vaccination records and behavioral assessments through PetScreening's BetterPet Passport™ system. This collaboration addresses a significant market gap, as pet-friendly accommodation remains one of the most searched rental filters, despite the fact that many properties still restrict animals due to liability concerns or operational complexities. The system also mitigates risks by ensuring compliance with assistance animal regulations. By welcoming pets, property managers can differentiate their listings, attract more bookings, and potentially charge premium fees.
