Coyne's sculptures radiate an organic strength through the theme of nature, although they look [fragile and delicate](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiyuan-xu) at first glance. Petah Coyne's [rose-covered nest](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nest-2) is one of my favorite sculptures from the artist. The natural structure of the bird's nest is transformed into a perfumed, lush and luxurious habitat. The attention and detail put into this sculpture only showcases Petah Coyne's immense talent. **Implications** - Marrying nature and the conventional human figure, Coyne's sculptures serve as a psychological metaphor and break the boundaries in place between men, women and animals. Her craftwork is a thought-provoking statement on nature and art. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.6/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Nature-inspired Sculptures:** Artists can explore the theme of nature and transform it into unique and imaginative sculptures. - **Metaphorical Art:** Artists can use their craft to convey deep psychological metaphors and challenge societal boundaries. - **Luxurious Habitat Design:** Designers can create opulent and fragrant habitats inspired by nature, offering a unique and immersive experience. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art:** Artists and galleries can embrace nature as a source of inspiration and create thought-provoking sculptures that challenge traditional norms. - **Psychology:** Psychologists can study the impact of metaphorical art on human perception and explore its potential therapeutic benefits. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate elements of nature into habitat designs, providing a luxurious and sensory experience for residents or guests. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Mixed-Media Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes.md) - [Insect-Inspired Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bronze-sculptures.md) - [Outdoor Floral Sculpture Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptures-at-kew-gardens.md) - [Human Torso-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lene-bdker.md) - [Human Embraced-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-sculpture.md) - [Stone Floral Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lithic-bloom.md) - [Blooming Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloome.md) - [Striking Sculptural Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpture-candle.md) - [Sophisticated Upcycled Home Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basket-sculptures.md)
