Tractive’s small, lightweight and waterproof [GPS Pet Tracking Device](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fi-series-3-plus) can be attached to a pet’s collar for [real-time tracking](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/safety-alerts) with one of Tractive’s free apps. If a pet goes missing, this device has several features that make it easy to locate them. The collar attachment has an integrated light, which helps to increase a pet’s visibility, especially in the dark. When used with the Tractive app, pet owners can see their pet’s exact location in real-time, as well as where they were previously.

Another handy feature is that the app allows pet owners to specify “[safe zones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halo-collar-1)” and if a pet happens to leave the area, they will receive a notification on their phone.

The device relies on communicates through cell phone towers, which requires a monthly payment of €4.99, but it does not require any long-term commitments or activation costs.
