# Picture-Taking Puppy Collars The Pet's View Captures Life Through the Eyes of Your Carefree Canine By Amelia Roblin | Published 2012-06-20 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-s-view References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2012/06/19/what-did-your-pet-see-today/) There are reasons why one might be particularly interested in documenting the sights that his dog sees throughout the day, and no matter what yours might be, there would be a way to make it happen with the Pet's View. This concept by Jaehwa Lee was designed to afford a loving owner a way to connect with his furry friend with the technologies of photography and biological detectors. The compact gadget isn't much bigger than a flash drive and houses a camera, a retractable USB drive, memory and a heart rate sensor and interpreter. A band lined with solar cells keeps the hi-tech dog collar charged as the device snaps a photo with every pulse of your puppy's heart. The Pet's View image library can be easily accessed and browsed by plugging the stick into your computer. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 95% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Pet Wearable Cameras:** Pet owners can now capture their pet's daily experiences from their point of view, providing a unique and immersive perspective. - **Biometric Pet Tracking:** The integration of biological detectors in pet collars allows owners to monitor their pet's health and well-being in real-time. - **Solar Powered Pet Accessories:** The use of solar cells in pet collars provides a sustainable and convenient way to keep devices charging while on the go. ### Who This Affects Most - **Pet Tech:** The pet tech industry can leverage pet wearable cameras to enhance the bond between pets and their owners while also providing valuable data for analysis. - **Health and Wellness:** The integration of biometric tracking in pet collars opens up opportunities for the health and wellness industry to develop innovative solutions for pet fitness and healthcare. - **Renewable Energy:** The adoption of solar-powered pet accessories contributes to the growing renewable energy industry by providing alternative charging solutions for various devices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pet-Taken Camera Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heartography.md) - [AI Canine Health Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cotons-ai-lifetrack-collar.md) - [AI-Powered Dog Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petpace-health-20.md) - [Pet-Monitoring Activity Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pawmate.md) - [AI-Powered Dog Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fi-series-3-plus.md) - [Smart Health-Monitoring Dog Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minitailz-dog-collar.md) - [Biometric GPS Canine Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invoxia-smart-dog-collar.md) - [Temperature-Tracking Pet Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-pet-camera.md) - [Connected Pet Care Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pingpong-pet-system.md)
