Everyday, seven pets will die from a house fire with 80% of those deaths occurring due to [smoke inhalation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petsnowy-air-purifier). To prevent this, the PREP was designed with a small furry friend in mind, as it utilized triple smoke-protection technology to block out the dangerous chemicals. This secure pack can fit a small to medium sized animal and even comes equipped with flashing lights, offering a potentially life-saving tool. Both durable and compact, the PREP serves as a life-saving tool, in the event of a house fire. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Pet Rescue Evacuation Packs with Smoke-protection Technology:** Opportunity for creating innovative pet rescue evacuation packs that utilize triple smoke-protection technology to save pets from smoke inhalation during disasters. - **Compact and Durable Pet Rescue Evacuation Packs:** Opportunity to develop compact and durable pet rescue evacuation packs that can fit small to medium-sized animals and can be easily carried during emergencies. - **Life-saving Features in Pet Rescue Evacuation Packs:** Opportunity to add life-saving features such as flashing lights to pet rescue evacuation packs, improving their effectiveness in emergency situations. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Care and Safety:** Opportunity for pet care and safety industry to develop and market advanced pet rescue evacuation packs with smoke-protection technology. - **Emergency Preparedness:** Opportunity for the emergency preparedness industry to create and distribute compact and durable pet rescue evacuation packs for households and communities. - **Pet Accessories and Gear:** Opportunity for the pet accessories and gear industry to design and sell pet rescue evacuation packs that include life-saving features like flashing lights. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Collapsible Canine Stretchers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-pet-stretcher.md) - [Pet Disaster Plan Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-disaster-plan.md) - [Pet-Catered First Aid Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wolf-pack.md) - [First-Aid Dog Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uncharted-supply-wolf-pack.md) - [Small Pet Carrier Enclosures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fenced-traveling-backpack.md) - [Collapsible Smokeless Fire Pits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-smokeless-fire-pit.md) - [Pet Wellness Lineups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderside-rescue.md) - [Heat-Preventing Pet Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petsmart1.md) - [Smartly Designed Pet-Friendly Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-purifier.md)
