Capable of chopping any fruit up to 10 inches in diameter, the slicer is designed to make quick work of watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple and much more in seconds. The slicer works by being placed overtop of fruits and pressed down in order to [chop them into 12 perfect slices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bread-slicing-machine) to be eaten immediately rather than having to wait for the chopping to finish up. The Perfect Slicer can be used with your [favorite melon](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slice-watermelon), but can also be used with smaller fruits and vegetables like apples and peppers in order to [quickly remove the core and seeds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-pull-food-processor). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.7/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Fruit-slicing Tools:** Opportunity for innovative slicers that can efficiently chop a variety of fruits and vegetables. - **Time-saving Kitchen Gadgets:** Opportunity to develop tools that can significantly reduce food preparation time. - **Easy-to-use Fruit Slicers:** Opportunity for user-friendly slicers that make fruit chopping effortless. ### Who This Affects Most - **Kitchen Appliances:** Disruptive innovation opportunities to create new and improved fruit and vegetable slicers. - **Home Goods:** Opportunity to develop time-saving kitchen tools that streamline food preparation. - **Consumer Goods:** Opportunity for innovative and convenient kitchen gadgets that appeal to busy individuals. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [On-Demand Retail Pineapple Slicers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pineapple-slicing-machine.md) - [Avocado-Shaped Vegetable Cutters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avo-multifunction-veggie-cutter.md) - [Refined Meat Slicing Scissors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/precision-chef-kitchen.md) - [Axe-Style Pizza Cutters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pizza-axe.md) - [Industrial Pizza Cutters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uhiyee-wheel-pizza-cutter.md) - [Vitamin-Packed Citrus Juicers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/citring-one.md) - [Manual Food Processors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manual-food-processor.md) - [Ingredient-Dicing Food Processors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/breville-the-paradice-16.md) - [Sweet Personal-Sized Pinapples](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/personalsize-pineapple.md)
