This modern lounge chair design is the newest functional, fashion-forward design from NaughtOne and it is easily distinguished by its [bold outline and plush upholstery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popo-chair). "When designing Percy, I was drawn to the combination of hard metal and soft upholstery," said designer Nicole Marion, "I wanted to play with visually softening the metal to create a cohesive, curvaceous look." The frame of the Percy chair can be specified with a choice of 16 colors and more than 100 upholstery options, offering a unique way to enhance interior spaces with pops of color and a style that sets itself apart from the majority of tubular frame chairs with thin framing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 7.3/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 19% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Bold Lounge Chair Designs:** A trend in design is the creation of bold lounge chairs that incorporate unique and visually striking features. - **Customizable Seating Options:** One trend in the seating industry is the rise of customizable options, allowing customers to choose from a wide range of colors and upholstery materials. - **Combining Hard and Soft Materials:** Designers are exploring the combination of hard metal and plush upholstery to create visually appealing and comfortable seating solutions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can benefit from the trend of bold lounge chair designs and a focus on customizable seating options. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate the trend of customizable seating options and bold lounge chair designs to create unique and visually appealing spaces for their clients. - **Fabric and Upholstery:** The fabric and upholstery industry has an opportunity to provide a wide range of options to meet the demand for unique and customizable seating solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tubular Vibrant Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/naughtone-percy.md) - [Cozy Contemporary Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-bun.md) - [Cozy Oversized Cushion Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo-lounge-chair.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Geometrically Chromatic Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archibald-armchair.md) - [Wooden Framed Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paf-paf-chair.md) - [Decorative Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monk-armchair.md) - [Colorful Modern Seating Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnus-olesen.md) - [Sophisticated Tailored Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aarea.md)
