In a next-level display of cross-industry branding, cola giant [Pepsi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pepsi-smart-can) is set to launch a new smartphone in China, called the Pepsi [P1](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xiaomi-12-pro-dimensity-edition). The company teased images and specs of the phone on its [Weibo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/razr-2022) account a few days ago. Pepsi hasn't actually gone and constructed the phone itself. Rather, an unknown phone manufacturer will be designing the device, although the branding will be Pepsi-centric.

The Pepsi P1 is an Android device and will be equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen. Powered by a 1.7 GHz processor, it will offer 2 GB of RAM and a 3,000 mAh battery. Photos can be captured with a 13-megapixel camera. At an estimated price of only $200, this is a decent deal.

This is an interesting initiative from Pepsi, who will be hoping that the P1 doesn't go flat.
