If you're unfamiliar with the brand, The Original Rainbow Cone has been serving up sweet treats in Chicago since all the way back in 1926. One of the brand's most distinctive treats is its Sliced Creations, which are ice cream cones layered with complimentary flavors. This holiday season, The Original Rainbow Cone is adding some festive cheer to its menu with a new Peppermint Sliced Creation. As Joe Buonavolanto III, Executive Vice President of The Buona Companies (parent company of Rainbow Cone), told [Chicago Food Magazine](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chicago-love-pizza), "This holiday season, we’re hoping to amplify the joy with every festive peppermint treat!
