Though Peony Yip doesn’t consider herself to be a professional designer, artist or photographer, she makes a strong argument against that statement by continuously churning out amazing illustrations and images.

For instance, in this series entitled ‘Astronaut Girls,’ Yip renders a collection of youthful Caucasian women suited up in [space exploration gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/axiom-extravehicular-mobility). The ladies are drawn beautifully and would probably make more sense on the covers of fashion magazines rather than being on [NASA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/axiom-extravehicular-mobility-unit) missions. After all, when was the last time you spotted an astronaut [wearing lipstick while in space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ready-set-jet)? Her use of runny watercolors and pinkish hues also give these amazing images a surreal quality.

Peony Yip currently resides in Fanling, Hong Kong, where she continues to produce stunning visuals that she’s passionate about.
