Inspired by traditional Russian Matryoshka dolls, the penguin cups come in three sizes and are meant to pack away into each other. But the fun doesn't stop there! When playtime is over, the penguins want to help you bake as well. The toys double as [measuring cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corcelain) with six commonly used measurement reference points. And because they stack within one another, they make for convenient storage. Each one of the penguin toys is suited in a colorful scarf of a primary color with white spots and are made of glazed ceramic. This fun and cute family of [nesting penguins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-plan-vi-call-duck) is waiting to be adopted and subsequently help with the welcome cake. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 9% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Functional Toys:** Using toys with additional functionality to enhance playtime experiences and offer practical uses. - **Nested Design:** Creating products that stack or nest within one another to save space and provide ease of storage. - **Playful Kitchenware:** Introducing whimsical elements to kitchen utensils, making baking and cooking more enjoyable and engaging. ### Who This Affects Most - **Toy Manufacturing:** Exploring opportunities to develop toys that serve dual purposes and offer added value beyond traditional play experiences. - **Home Storage Solutions:** Designing innovative storage options that optimize space and convenience by incorporating nesting or stacking features. - **Kitchenware and Cookware:** Redefining kitchen utensils and cookware designs to embrace creativity, playfulness, and practicality for a more joyful cooking experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nesting Gem-Like Drinking Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upsidedownside-glasses.md) - [Hatching Duck Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mama-duck-surprise.md) - [Mission-Driven Penguin Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/penguin-toy.md) - [Seasonal Penguin Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-penguins-in-love.md) - [Baby Bottle Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottapals.md) - [Cyclical Life-Themed Russian Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-dolls-1.md) - [Single-Piece Silicone Measuring Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boi-measuring-cup.md) - [Insulated Drink Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puffin-drinkware.md) - [Multifunctional Education Stacking Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-button-stacking-toys.md)
