Using a chisel and scalpel, the Bosnian-born sculptor based out of Tuzla creates highly precise art pieces with an incredible attention to detail. Simple lead graphite has been painstakingly manipulated in order to create a wide array of subjects. Seahorses, screws, flowers and even Batman himself have all been explored down to the very last detail by this amazingly dedicated artist. This certainly isn't Dordevic's first foray into the world of [miniature art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minipen). Previously, he applied to the Guinness Book of World Records for a nearly microscopic [origami paper boat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti), which he didn't win only because a category for his type of work had yet to be defined by the organization. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Miniature Art:** Exploring the creation of highly detailed and intricate artwork on a small scale. - **Attention to Detail:** Utilizing meticulous precision and focus to create elaborate and intricate sculptures. - **Pencil Carvings:** Transforming ordinary pencils into unique and detailed art pieces through sculpting techniques. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Sculpture:** Opportunity to showcase and sell miniature sculptures as unique and intricate art pieces. - **Stationery and Office Supplies:** Potential to expand offerings by incorporating specialty pencil carvings as premium products or limited-edition collectibles. - **Hobby and Craft:** Appeal to hobbyists and craft enthusiasts by providing tools and resources for creating intricate pencil sculptures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stone-Grip Conical Pencils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aluminum-sphere.md) - [Microfine Brow Pencils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/precisely-my-brow-detailer.md) - [Unique Writing Instruments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphite-paintbrush-writing-instrument.md) - [Elegant Everlasting Pencils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stilform-aeon.md) - [Insect-Inspired Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bronze-sculptures.md) - [Clothespin-Inspired Mechanical Pencils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pentapa.md) - [Self-Sharpening Coloring Pencils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infinity-colouring-pencils.md) - [Everlasting Magnetic Tip Pencils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aeon1.md) - [Geometric Wooden Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aleph-geddis.md)
