Designed by Homm. Studio, the [desk accessory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pareto-pot) offers an arced spot to store freshly sharpened pencils in a pile to ensure they are always nearby when required. The unit also features an [integrated pencil sharpener](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-pencil-sharpener) that doesn't detract from the overall look of the unit to let users perform sharpening whenever required between tasks. The 'Logger' pencil station is finished with a see-through shavings compartment that lets users see just how full it is without having to lift off the top or leave the waste completely open for viewing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Desk Accessories:** Companies can create sleek, minimalist desk accessories that blend style with functionality. - **Integrated Storage Solutions:** There is an opportunity to develop desk accessories with integrated storage compartments to keep essential items organized. - **Visible Waste Management:** Designers can explore ways to incorporate see-through compartments into waste management systems for easy monitoring. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Office Supply:** Office supply companies can innovate by designing stylish and functional desk accessories for professionals. - **Design and Art Supplies:** Design and art supply companies can create innovative storage solutions for writing utensils and other essential tools. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can incorporate aesthetically pleasing waste management systems into their product offerings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Wooden Desk Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ofiistory-desk-supplies.md) - [Carved Timber Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organization-kit.md) - [Organized Minimal Pen Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stilo75-pen-holder.md) - [Vertical Pencil Sharpening Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pencil-sharpener-1.md) - [Off-Kilter Desktop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-pen-holder.md) - [Striking Writing Tool Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zenith7-desk-pen.md) - [Multipurpose Workstation Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakywood-wooden-cubic-pot.md) - [Pencil Shaving-Inspired Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharpener-lampshades.md) - [Unique Writing Instruments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphite-paintbrush-writing-instrument.md)
