The Upright Pencil Sharpener is an effective design that is minimally designed and has a unique vertical structure. The pencil is a timeless and basic writing instrument and it needs regular sharpening -- the Upright structure is shaped like a disc with a single hole in the middle that also acts as a stand for the pencil.

It can be pulled out whenever it is in use and this makes it easy to find instead of having to search for in pencil cases or drawers. Although it has a simple design, it is a great example of efficiency. The base also carefully holds all of the shavings -- it is made with anodized aluminum and a matte black finish with a cover crafted from warm walnut wood.
