Designed by Elise Gabriel of l'Atelier d'Exercises, the [writing utensil trough](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kiir) is made from metal. It's been folded into an open box with a hood, allowing you to lay it across your desk or prop it up tall. [Pens and markers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qui-magnetic-pencil-system) can be placed on their sides within the tray for a total storage capacity of about 100 scribblers. Should you prefer to distance the Pencil Display Organizer from your desktop, it can be mounted on the wall through a single hole. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Artistic Desk Organizers:** Opportunity to create innovative and visually appealing desk organizers for artists and creative professionals. - **Vertical Storage Solutions:** Disruptive opportunity to design vertical storage solutions for pens and markers, maximizing space efficiency. - **Wall-mounted Pen Holders:** Innovation potential in creating wall-mounted pen holders for easy access and space-saving functionality. ### Where This Applies - **Office Supplies:** Opportunity for office supplies companies to expand their product range by offering artistic desk organizers. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive potential in the interior design industry for creating visually appealing storage solutions for creative professionals. - **Diy/home Improvement:** Innovative opportunities for DIY/home improvement companies to create wall-mounted pen holders as a functional and stylish addition to any workspace. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Organized Minimal Pen Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stilo75-pen-holder.md) - [Desktop Pen Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pareto-pot.md) - [Vertical Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tower-desk1.md) - [Striking Writing Tool Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zenith7-desk-pen.md) - [Minimal Compact Pen Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/serenity-pen-stand.md) - [Dumpster Pencil Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dumpstuder-pencil-holders.md) - [Angled Workstation Whiteboard Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluidstance-slope.md) - [Desk Organizer Lamp Hybrids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engrid-desk-lamp.md) - [Off-Kilter Desktop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-pen-holder.md)
