Crafted by the [Hornsby Berowra Men’s](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hornsby-park-southern-lookout) Shed, this wall unit comprises a plywood panel and a grid of round holes that can accommodate a number of wooden dowels. This regular arrangement of openings requires the consistent placement of the timber hooks. These then offer places to hang items in a fairly uniform fashion. Another perk of this setup is that the long lumber posts can serve as effective supports for wooden panels. This way, the Pegboard Storage System can comprise a [variety of shelves of different sizes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brickbox-modular-shelving) to hold possessions that don't do well suspended. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pegboard Organization Systems:** This trend creates an opportunity for companies to innovate on the design and functionality of pegboard organization systems for home and commercial use. - **Modular Storage Solutions:** This trend highlights the potential for businesses to create customizable and adaptable modular storage solutions for consumers and businesses. - **Woodworking DIY Projects:** This trend presents an opportunity for businesses to offer woodworking DIY kits and workshops, capitalizing on consumers' desire for hands-on projects and organization solutions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Improvement Retailers:** Home improvement retailers can leverage these trends by offering a variety of custom modular storage solutions, tailored to fit any space. - **Interior Design:** These trends provide an opportunity for interior designers to incorporate customizable and aesthetically pleasing storage solutions into their designs. - **Woodworking Suppliers:** Woodworking suppliers can capitalize on the trend of DIY projects by offering kits and workshops for consumers interested in building their own organization systems. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vertical Honeycomb Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-art-storage-system.md) - [Rotating Desktop Peg Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ropeg-360.md) - [Sleek Wall Organizer Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mdf-boards.md) - [Building Block Wall Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-organizer-and-messfree-planter.md) - [Adaptable Organizer Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-square-organizer.md) - [Modular Magnetic Wall Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-organizer-concept.md) - [Customizable Style-Conscious Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ledoux-modular-shelf-system.md) - [Wall-Mounted Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-storage.md) - [Vibrant Organizational Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorful-pegboard.md)
